It is my pleasure to welcome you to a new school year filled with promise, growth, and innovation. At ECA, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide the very best international education in Venezuela, preparing our students to thrive in an ever-changing world.<\/p>\n
This year is especially significant as we advance in our journey with the\u00a0International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme<\/strong>. Already proud to be an IB Diploma Programme (DP) World School, we have launched our\u00a0Primary Years Programme (PYP) candidacy<\/strong>\u00a0and are preparing for the\u00a0Middle Years Programme (MYP)<\/strong>. These steps bring us closer to aligning all grade levels\u2014from Nursery through Grade 12\u2014under the IB framework, ensuring that every student benefits from an inquiry-driven, globally minded, and rigorous education.<\/p>\nAt the same time, we are strengthening our identity through\u00a0The Campo Way<\/strong>:\u00a0Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Safe, Do Your Best.<\/em>\u00a0These values are not only guiding principles but the foundation of the culture we nurture each day. ECA is an international Nursery to Grade 12 school. Until Grade 10 the school\u2019s well-articulated curriculum taught in English, is based on the US Common Core standards. Students in grades 11 and 12, have the opportunity to fully participate in the IB Diploma Program or complete the ECA High School Diploma. Leadership<\/span><\/h2>\n\nThe Educational Leadership Team (ELT) consists of the Superintendent, Elementary Principal and the Secondary Principal. They work closely and regularly interact with the following professionals: Director of Support Services, Advancement \/ Admissions Leader\u00a0 Head of Technology, Library Director and the Director of Facilities to ensure that daily operations and ECA\u2019s mission and vision are being implemented. The Superintendent reports to the Board of Directors and ELT members and the above professionals report to the Superintendent.<\/p>\n
ECA\u00a0is\u00a0governed\u00a0by\u00a0a\u00a0Board\u00a0of\u00a0Directors.\u00a0The\u00a0Board\u00a0of\u00a0Directors\u00a0is\u00a0self-perpetuating,\u00a0and\u00a0represents\u00a0the\u00a0original\u00a0shareholders\u00a0who\u00a0established
\nthe\u00a0school.\u00a0There\u00a0are\u00a0no\u00a0elected\u00a0members\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0board.\u00a0The\u00a0Board\u00a0of
\nDirectors\u00a0concentrates\u00a0on\u00a0broad\u00a0direction\u00a0and\u00a0strategic\u00a0planning\u00a0of\u00a0the
\nschool, and delegates the day-to-day operation of the school to the Superintendent. The Superintendent is a full voting member of the board and acts as the visible representative of the board.<\/div>\n
