Welcome.<\/strong><\/h2>\nWelcome to the Secondary School at Escuela Campo Alegre! Much is expected of students, faculty and parents in the Secondary School. The more familiar you are with the academic and behavior expectations, the more successful your child will be. Parent and teacher collaboration is the best assurance that students will fulfill their potential. It is with this intent we publish the Secondary School Handbook.<\/strong> Please read this handbook carefully and use it as a first resource whenever you have questions about academic and behavioral programs, policies or practices.<\/p>\nIn the ECA Secondary School, we actively pursue programs that are intellectually rigorous, further develop co-curricular opportunities, and encourage professional interpersonal skills in our \u201cCulture of Respect and Responsibility.\u201d We leverage these pillars through the use of online technologies. In concert with this, the ten IB Learner Profile attributes are highlighted in all courses and activities: inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced, and reflective learners. These allow us to pursue, and indeed achieve, our Mission, Vision and Guiding Statements.<\/p>\n
