Online learning week
I hope that you are safe and well. Beginning this Monday, May 17, we will have an online learning week.
During the coming week we shall be gathering feedback from Grade 4 to 11 students and parents about how online learning has worked during the second half of this year. We will be using the feedback to help with designing future online learning experiences. Separate questionnaire survey links, for redhirts, white shirts, blue shirts and brown shirts, will be sent to you during the week.
Michelle Till, Julia Baranowsky, Cynthia Abdallah and teachers will continue to communicate / interact with you to determine future daily / weekly planning, learning and activities.
As we enter the final four weeks of work, with students and complete end of year tasks, we also are preparing for the start of the next academic year. Given that we now have both face to face on campus and online programs successfully operating, with Government approvals and the hope that an effective vaccine program will eventually be available in Venezuela, we aim to return to a face to face on campus learning in August / September 2021. Further details related to how we shall start the next academic year, beginning August 16, will be sent to the ECA community by June 5.
Please continue to look after your family, follow biosafety protocols, stay safe and healthy by assuming a low profile, maintaining social distance, minimising contact with others, wearing an appropriate mask and regularly washing hands. Each and every ECA community member must assume the responsibility to look out for the health of others in the community.
