Our Mission
The ECA Library Learning Center is a modern learning space. We collaborate with students and staff to encourage self-directed learning, creation of knowledge, ethical use of information, innovation, personal interests, and a sense of global connectedness.
My name is Adam Smee, the Library Director at ECA. I bring a passion for reading and years of experience and knowledge to serve ECA. Similarly, I look forward to exhibiting the best our resources have to offer for our community. ECA has one of the best school libraries in the Caracas area, and I invite parents and students to take advantage of this very complete resource at your disposal. We have resources in both English and Spanish that can be checked out, as well as a variety of digital resources to support learning and knowledge.
For updates about what is happening in the library, please check the ‘Library Matters’ newsletter, which will be updated once a month with goings on and important information about upcoming events. For specific inquiries, please contact us at librarystaff@ecak12.com.
Welcome to the new school year! The library is ready to support students and parents during this period of online learning.
Regards,
Adam Smee, ECA Library Director, libadmin@ecak12.com
